Leadership
Pastor David Swanson (email) is the pastor of New Community and is responsible for cultivating the mission and vision of the church. He works closely with our exceptional ministry team leaders and community group leaders to ensure that all aspects of our worship and service are done so the name of CHRIST is proclaimed, reconciling COMMUNITY is developed and the CAUSE of Jesus is advanced.
As a congregational church, our membership elects a leadership team to assist the pastor in stewarding the church’s mission. The leadership team also oversees the church budget and provides ministry leadership. Currently serving on the leadership team are Sonia Wang, Zach Gallentine, Jennifer Dorrough, Warren Skipper, Susan Sperry and David Swanson (ex officio).
